Terms and Conditions for Online Trauma Support Group

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the Online Trauma Support Group  (“Services”) provided by Mindful Synergi (“Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

By purchasing our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Program Overview

The Trauma Group Program is a structured, online therapeutic group facilitated by a qualified, trauma-informed counsellor and delivered during New South Wales school terms. The program will commence in Term 2 and continue in alignment with the NSW school calendar.

3. Session Dates

Weekly on a Wednesday, 6pm – 7.30 pm

Term 2: Wednesday, 22 April – Wednesday, 1 July

Term 3: Wednesday, 22 July – Wednesday, 23 September

Term 4: Wednesday, 14 October – Wednesday, 16 December

4. Session Structure and Fees

Sessions are conducted online via Zoom.

The fee is $60 per session.

Payment is required in full, up front, for the entire school term to secure your place in the group.

Your place in the group is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

All payments are non-refundable.

Missed sessions cannot be refunded, credited, or transferred to another term.

If a participant is unable to attend a session, the session fee remains payable as part of the term commitment.

6. Group Capacity

The group is limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Places are strictly limited and allocated on a first-paid basis.

7. Attendance and Commitment

Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged to support therapeutic benefit and group cohesion.

Participants are asked to attend sessions on time and engage respectfully with the group process.

8. Technology Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to a reliable internet connection, a suitable device, and a private, confidential space for the duration of each session.

Mindful Synergi is not responsible for disruptions caused by technical difficulties on the participant’s end.

9. Confidentiality and Group Safety

All participants are expected to maintain the confidentiality of other group members.

Participants must not record sessions or share any personal information disclosed within the group.

The facilitator will provide guidance to support a safe and respectful group environment.

10. Clinical Considerations

This group is designed to provide trauma-informed support but may not be suitable for individuals requiring intensive or crisis-based care.

The facilitator reserves the right to determine suitability for participation and may recommend alternative supports where appropriate.

11. Changes to Program

Mindful Synergi reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the schedule or facilitator if required.

Participants will be notified of any significant changes as early as possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Force Majeure

The Provider is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including illness, natural disasters, government restrictions, or technical failures.

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be communicated via email and will take effect 30 days after notification.

15. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.

16. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
