We’re so excited to invite you into our Online Trauma Support Group, a warm, supportive space where healing doesn’t have to feel heavy or lonely.

This is a trauma-informed, gently guided group experience designed to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward at your own pace. You’ll be supported every step of the way by Ann-Maree, our deeply compassionate and experienced trauma-informed counsellor, alongside others who truly get it.

Think of this as a space where you can exhale, feel seen, and grow – together.

Across our weekly sessions, you’ll:
Gain a deeper understanding of trauma (in a way that actually makes sense)
Learn simple, practical tools to calm your nervous system and manage overwhelm
Build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self
Experience genuine connection in a safe, guided group setting

No matter how long ago your experiences occurred, you’ll be supported with care and understanding. Our facilitators use a gentle, evidence-informed approach to help you move forward at a pace that feels safe, steady, and right for you.

Meet Your Facilitator

Ann-Maree Sweeney

Trauma Informed Counsellor

Ann-Maree completed postgraduate studies in counselling more than a decade ago and has since worked with diverse adult individuals and groups facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Her approach is authentic, non-judgemental, and grounded in real-world experience. She specialises in helping clients and their loved ones navigate compulsive behaviours and addictions with compassion and practical strategies.

 Together, you can explore ways to manage anxiety, rebuild self-esteem, and strengthen your relationships, self-care routines, and work-life balance. Ann-Maree supports clients in releasing guilt, shame, grief, and loss that may be silently impacting their wellbeing. Her goal is to help you build emotional resilience and create a life that feels meaningful and worth living. 

She uses a holistic, trauma-informed approach tailored to each unique individual, drawing from DBT, CBT, psychodynamic, and person-centred modalities.

What to expect

This online program aligns with NSW school terms, with small group sizes to keep things personal, meaningful, and supportive.

Term Dates:
● Term 2: Wednesday, 22 April – Wednesday, 1 July
● Term 3: Wednesday, 22 July – Wednesday, 23 September
● Term 4: Wednesday, 14 October – Wednesday, 16 December

Investment
● $60 per session
● Paid upfront per term to secure your place

To create a space that feels safe, consistent, and truly beneficial for everyone, we ask that participants:
● Commit to the full term (this is where the magic really happens)
● Understand that payments are non-refundable and sessions can’t be transferred
● Respect confidentiality. What’s shared in the group stays in the group
● Note that this group is supportive and therapeutic, but not suited for crisis or intensive care needs
